Personal information this site collects
None. There is no contact form, no quote form, no booking, no comment section, no login, no newsletter signup and no shopping cart on any page of polybplumber.ca. There is no mechanism by which a visitor can submit a name, an address, an email address, a phone number or any other personal information to this site.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics package, no advertising pixel, no session recording, no heatmap and no third-party tag of any kind. The pages are plain static HTML and CSS with no scripts that load from other domains.
If that ever changes, this page is updated before the change goes live, not after, and the date at the bottom moves with it.
What the web host records
Like every website, polybplumber.ca is served by a commercial web host, and that host keeps standard server access logs. A log entry typically contains the requesting IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the HTTP response code, the referring page if the browser sent one, and the browser's user-agent string.
Those logs are created and retained by the hosting provider for operational and security purposes — diagnosing errors, detecting abuse, keeping the server up. They are not used to build profiles of visitors, are not combined with any other data, and are not sold, rented or shared for marketing. Retention is governed by the hosting provider's own schedule.
Links to other sites
Some pages link out to named third-party sources, for example the published cost figures cited on the replacement cost page. Those links are provided so a reader can check a number against its origin.
Once a visitor follows an outbound link they are on someone else's website, governed by that site's privacy practices, not this one. No responsibility is taken for the content or the data handling of any external site.
Children
This site is not directed at children, does not knowingly collect information from anyone, and has no mechanism that could collect information from a child.
Legal basis and your rights
Canadian privacy law, principally PIPEDA and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act, gives an individual rights of access to and correction of personal information an organization holds about them.
Because this site holds no personal information about visitors, there is nothing to access, correct, export or delete. Requests concerning host-level server logs are directed to the hosting provider, which controls and retains them.
Changes to this policy
If the site ever adds a form, a subscription, analytics or any other means of collecting information, this policy is rewritten to describe it in specific terms before that feature is published. The effective date below records the current version.
